Scene 1: The Kitchen
(Enter Cinderella, holding a broom.)
Cinderella: (sighs) Oh, what a long day it has been! My stepmother and stepsisters have left for the royal ball, but I must stay behind to clean the house.
(Suddenly, a Fairy Godmother appears in a puff of smoke.)
Fairy Godmother: Hello, dear child! Why do you look so sad?
Cinderella: (startled) Who are you? And why are you here?
Fairy Godmother: I am your Fairy Godmother! And I am here to help you attend the royal ball tonight.
Cinderella: (excitedly) Really? But how can I go if I don't have a dress or a carriage?
Fairy Godmother: Leave that to me! (waves wand) Voila! You now have a beautiful gown and glass slippers!
(Enter Stepsisters, looking at Cinderella in awe.)
Stepsister 1: Wow, Cinderella! You look stunning!
Stepsister 2: Yes, who would have thought you could look so glamorous?
Cinderella: (smiling) Thank you both. I never knew I had such beauty within me.
Fairy Godmother: Remember, dear, the magic will only last until midnight. Be sure to return home before then.
Cinderella: Of course, thank you, Fairy Godmother!
(Scene fades out as Cinderella enters the carriage with her Fairy Godmother.)
Scene 2: The Ballroom
(Enter Prince and Cinderella, dancing together.)
Prince: (smiling) You dance beautifully, my lady. May I know your name?
Cinderella: (blushing) I am Cinderella, Your Highness.
Prince: (impressed) Cinderella, it is an honor to meet you. Will you dance with me again?
Cinderella: (nodding) Of course, Your Highness.
(Suddenly, the clock strikes midnight.)
Cinderella: Oh no! It's almost midnight! I must go!
(Exit Cinderella hurriedly, dropping one of her glass slippers on the way.)
Prince: (picking up the slipper) Wait! I must find this fair maiden.
(Scene fades out as the Prince holds the slipper, determined to find his true love.)
